The Office of Student Life seeks to provide students with opportunities to develop Christian leadership and ministry. Within the Washington metropolitan area there are many places that provide opportunities for community service, such as jails, homeless shelters, small churches, hospitals, nursing homes and local schools. Participating in the community service program at various sites, students can fulfill their education goal as Christians and graduation requirements. All undergraduate students are required to fulfill 7 units of community service for graduation and 1 unit comprises 15 hours of service.
