How to Use the Upload Box in My WUV
Assigning and collecting files from students is simple using My WUV’s Upload Box system!
The first step is to login to My WUV. Once you are on the homepage, click “Courses” on the upper left corner. Underneath that menu, click “My Courses.”
A list of all of your courses will appear. Select the course you would like to edit and it will open in a new tab.
On the top of the course page, there is a yellow “Input Mode” button – click that and your course is now in editing mode.
Scroll to the bottom to the “Upload Boxes” section. All of your assignments will be listed here and categorized by name, status, display order, action, and files. Name is the title of the assignment. Status shows whether your assignment is open for uploading, closed, or due for submission with a specific date. Display order indicates the number in which each assignment is displayed. Action will have a Pencil icon which you can click for editing and a Trash icon which you can click to delete the assignment. Files will show all of the students who have submitted assignments. Please note that Display Order and Action will only be displayed when you are in the input editing mode.
Click the blue plus icon and a window will appear asking for the name of the assignment. Click “Add” once you type in the title. The assignment will be saved and added to your course.
You can scroll to the “Upload Boxes” section again and click the pencil icon to edit the assignment. Here you can change the Status and Display Order.
Once students upload assignments to your upload box, you will see them under “Files.” A green “Get” button will be displayed next to each file. Click this button to download specific files.
