Aside from using the quiz features in Moodle, Quizlet is another learning tool that you can incorporate in your Moodle course. This platform allows users to create online flashcards and various quizzes. It is an effective method to test the learners’ vocabulary and memorization skills. To embed a Quizlet set in your Moodle course, you need a separate account for the Quizlet website and some pre-made questions in advance.
In your Moodle course page, click the gear icon and click ‘Turn editing on.’
Click ‘Add an activity or resource’ underneath the week or topic section of your choice.
In the activity chooser, select to add a page.
In the page tab, type in the title and description to briefly explain the Quizlet activity. When you are done, scroll down to the content. Click the arrow button that is pointing down to open other options. Click the HTML button that looks like this >.
In your Quizlet page, click the three-dotted icon and the embed button.
There are five types of quiz-style that you can choose from in the drop-down menu. Select your option and either click ‘Copy HTML,’ highlight the HTML link and click Ctrl + C or click the left mouse and click ‘Copy.’
Now come back to the Moodle page and embed the link by clicking the left mouse and clicking ‘Paste’,, or clicking Ctrl + V.
When you have successfully embedded the HTML link, it should appear in your page like this.
Click ‘Save and return to course’.
When you click the Quizlet page in your Moodle course, it should appear like this.
