How to Take a Quiz in Google Classroom
This is a step by step guide on how to take a quiz in Google Classroom!
First, go to Google Classroom and select the course that your quiz is in. Find the quiz either on the Stream homepage or in the Classwork tab. Click on the quiz and then select “View assignment.”
Here you will be able to see all of the quiz details, such as the due date, directions, how many points the quiz is worth, and the Google Form which is the actual quiz.
If you have questions about the quiz that you would like to talk to the rest of the class about, you can add a Class comment at the bottom.
If you would like to add a Private comment for only you and your professor to see, you can also do that on the lower right-hand side.
Once you are ready to take the quiz, click the Google Form displayed below the quiz instructions. The form will open in a new tab and this is the quiz itself. On the top of the Form will be the quiz name and details as well as your login information.
Below will be all the questions. To the right of each question, you will see how many points that specific question is worth.
When you are done answering the questions, you can click the purple “Submit” button at the bottom of the Form. Additionally, you may check off “Send me a copy of my responses” if you would like that for your own personal records.
Once you have submitted your answers, you will be taken to a new page where you can click “View score” to see your grade for the quiz and the correct answers. You can also click the “Open assignment” button to return to Google Classroom.
If you click “View score” you will be able to see the answers to the quiz and your grade. On the upper right-hand corner next to the quiz name, you will see “Total points” followed by a purple box showing how many points you earned out of the total possible points.
Below, you will see every question’s correct answer as well as the answer you selected. Any long form answers will be reviewed by your professor so grades are subject to change.
